10 Jan 2018 Euroa Gazette, Euroa VIC (General News) In brief THE Andrews Labor Government has provided a funding boost to help commemorate the sacrifice of local veterans, and educate the wider community about their service. Jaclyn Symes (MLC, Northern Victoria) said Indigo Shire will receive $5656 for an exhibition drawing on the WWI images and diaries of Beechworths Corporal William Forrest, to create a permanent record. She said the Winton Wetlands committee of management will use their funding to recognise WWI service members from the Winton North State School through the recreation of an Honour Roll to be installed.
