23 May 2017 Loddon Times, Loddon VIC (General News) TWO local politicians have been pre-selected by their political parties to contest the upper house Northern Victoria seat at the 2018 election. Liberal representative, Wendy Nolan and Labor member, Jaclyn Symes who hold two of the five positions have been approved to run for another term. Ms Lovell has been a State politician for 15 years, since being first elected to the upper house seat of North Eastern Province in 2002, which became part of the Northern Victoria Region following the reform of the Legislative Council in 2006.
