Numurkah Leader, Numurkah VIC (General News) NORTHERN Victoria features in a new Victorian Government campaign aimed at Melburnians, to highlight how great country Victoria is to live, work and invest. Regional Development Minister Jaala Pulford launched the Ready When You Are campaign, which aims to woo people to live in country Victoria. The campaign features people from around the state who have already relocated to country Victoria, and shares their stories about what encouraged them to move. The campaign draws on research showing the key attractions to relocation, which include affordable housing, education, health and lifestyle. The other drivers are family, social connections and employment. Northern Victoria MP Jaclyn Symes said regional Victoria has the best of everything and she wanted more people to experience it. Labor is making it easier for country businesses to create jobs by cutting payroll tax by 25% giving some businesses the lowest rate in the country and giving everyone the chance to buy their first home, Ms Symes said.
