Valleys Prosecco Road plans

25 Jan 2018 Border Mail, Albury-Wodonga (General News) by Shana Morgan IT IS not often that rival businesses are happy to collaborate to help each other succeed, but that has been the case with King Valley wineries. They are about to embark on a business case and blueprint as part of the King Valley Prosecco Road Plan. Wines of the King Valley representatives will work with the Victorian government on the unique plan, aimed to take advantage of the growing popularity of prosecco. Northern Victorian MP Jaclyn Symes said it was important for the government to get involved because their success would lead to more jobs and improve the tourism industry. We are working with them on the emergence of prosecco and future growth and opportunities, she said. Whether its the perfect sangiovese or world-renowned prosecco, you can be guaranteed to find your perfect drop right across our award-winning King Valley region. Wines of the King Valley president Dean CleaveSmith said the region experienced a 20 per cent growth in prosecco sales over the past year. We expect that growth to be exponential, he said.
