Weve got a growing membership, of around 120, with many school groups coming in and we also have a program with people with disabilities, he said. Its a pretty healthy club, with members able to shoot skeet, sporting, and down the line. We have two competitions a month with practice every other Saturday and Wednesday. Ms Symes also confirmed a $29,000 grant for the Wangaratta Target Rifle Club. She said the club intended to purchase five electronic target systems for full bore rifle shooting at its Glenrowan Shooting Complex. Ms Symes said the electronic system will replace the current manually operated targets, in a move the club hopes will assist retain existing members and attract new ones to the sport.
