05 Oct 2018 Wangaratta Chronicle, Wangaratta VIC (General News) BENALLA Equestrian Centre will get a covered riding arena to provide an all-weather facility with floodlighting, to create a key regional equestrian facility able to host more events, including those at the highest level of the sport. The State Government has announced a $250,000 grant to help deliver the $392,000 project, being jointly funded by fundraising efforts and the Benalla Rural City council. Jaclyn Symes (MLC, Northern Victoria) said the three major stakeholder groups of Benalla Pony Club, Benalla Adult Riders and Big Valley Quarter Horse Association, along with the Raise the Roof committee, had done an amazing job.
