Christmas comes early at St Johns Primary School Euroa

13 Dec 2017 Euroa Gazette, Euroa VIC (General News) THE St Johns Primary School community received an early dose of Christmas cheer last week when they received notification from Education Minister James Merlino and the Victorian State Government that they had been successful in their application for a capital grant. A combination of $950,000 from the State Government as well as a $950,000 school contribution will see a $1.9 million project begin around September 2018 and be completed mid-way through 2019. The build will comprise of a new Senior Learning Centre, new toilet facilities, refurbished classrooms and an upgraded, state of the art administration block. Renowned North East architect Ken Woodman has designed plans that will bring modern, fresh ideas and options to the learning environments, while still paying homage to the schools rich history and past. Once complete, St Johns schools facilities and buildings will provide learning spaces and environments that will cater for 21st century learning long into the future. A BIG REASON TO SMILE: Member for Northern Victoria Jaclyn Symes (back, right) visited St Johns last week to present the school with a grant for $950,000 on behalf of the State Government.
