Kinder upgrade for Broadford, North Central Review (Kilmore), Melbourne
A KINDERGARTEN upgrade at Mt Piper Kindergarten will help children and families access quality early childhood services. Member for Northern Victoria, Jaclyn Symes, announced the allocation of $350,000 to Mt Piper Kindergarten to upgrade and extend its facilities and services. The project will create a community hub for childrens and family services to improve transition between services. It will also provide for 29 new four year-old places and 20 new three year-old places. The development will provide the opportunity for greater integration of services, both physically and professionally, Ms Symes said. The centre is located in a high growth area and the upgrade will support the delivery of services in the area, including kindergarten programs, maternal and child health, allied health, indigenous support workers and family services.
