Kindergartens in Northern Victoria are set to benefit from grants as part of the Victorian governments promise to deliver new infrastructure improvements, Member for Northern Victoria, Jaclyn Symes, has announced. Ms Symes said 60 kindergartens would share in more than $350,000 worth of grants to improve services for children and families. The Corryong kindergarten will receive $1500 for a television to showcase childrens activities to parents and for childrens learning enhancement plus an additional iPad and BluRay player for childrens learning. As a parent of two young children, I know the importance parents place on our local kinders needing to be up to speed with the latest technology so our kids can try different ways of learning, Ms Symes said.
