WANGARATTA councils environmental officer Adele Ritchie has picked up a gong in the 2015 Victorian Landcare awards. The awards recognise community-minded people who have undertaken projects that have made significant contributions to the sustainable care of their local environments. Labor Member for Northern Victoria Jaclyn Symes congratulated Ms Ritchie, saying she had delivered strong environmental outcomes to the Wangaratta community.The awards are given out every two years.
