The Victorian Government has granted $60 000 for a Mens Shed to be built in Nagambie. State Member for Northern Victoria Jaclyn Symes said Nagambie Lakes Mens Shed was one of 15 successful Mens Shed projects the Government had announced would be built across Victoria. Funds could be used to construct a new Mens Shed, redevelop an existing building into a Mens Shed or co-locate a Mens Shed in a multifunction community facility or hub. The grant will be used to build two new sheds on land in Filson St which was donated by Strathbogie Shire Council.
