New CFA home in Broadford

03 Jul 2018 Whittlesea Review, Whittlesea (General News) BROADFORD will be home to a new CFA station by October after construction officially began recently. The township is starting to shape its emergency services future with seven new paramedics also slated to start later this year; meanwhile the Nexus Primary Health Centre will also be redeveloped. With the news construction had began, Member for Northern Victoria Jaclyn Symes said she was excited for the future of the region. I am excited to be a resident of Broadford, especially with all the infrastructure projects on the way she said. The CFA build has been a long time coming and to also have the first-ever ambulance presence is something the community will really benefit from. I am proud to be a resident and work with the town as well. This is a country town with country needs.
