New Eildon Fire Station ready for action, Mansfield Courier, Mansfield VIC

EILDON Fire Brigade has moved into its new state-of-the-art home in time for the 201516 bushfire season. The $614,374 station, officially opened at the weekend by Jaclyn Symes (MLC, Northern Victoria), gives the 30-member brigade a modern, spacious facility to help it continue protecting the town and the surrounding region. It replaces Eildons original station, built in 1952, and is located at the corner of High Street and Park Avenue, the site of a training and competition track used by the CFA in the 1950s and 1960s.
