NORTH East Victoria was well represented in the RACV Victorian Tourism Awards at the Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre on Monday night. The presentations were hosted by the Victorian Tourism Industry Council and the King Valleys Pizzini Wines took out the tourism, wineries, distilleries and breweries major award while fellow high country nominee, Bright Brewery, was awarded silver in the same category. Quality Hotel Gateway Wangaratta won the deluxe accommodation award. Jaclyn Symes (MLC, Northern Victoria) this week congratulated the local award recipients on their achievements.
