17 Jun 2016 Shepparton News, Shepparton VIC (General News) Northern Victorian sport clubs received $150 000 in the most recent round of the Victorian Governments Sporting Club Grants Program. Grants are available of up to $5000 to bolster operations and increase community participation, and $2000 to expand the skill sets of coaches or officials for first aid training or umpire accreditation programs. Grants of up to $1000 are also available to buy new team uniforms or equipment. Member for Northern Victoria, Jaclyn Symes said 113 clubs or associations in northern Victoria had secured grants.
