Sporting clubs have the opportunity to earn funding for equipment and uniforms to improve the capacity of their club or increase the skills of their coaches, officials and managers. State Member of Northern Victoria Jaclyn Symes said sporting clubs should consider applying for funding as part of the Labor Governments $4.6 million Sporting Club Grants Program. The Labor Government wants all Victorians to have access to great grassroots sport, no matter where they live, and the Sporting Club Grants Program does just that, Ms Symes said. Clubs are able to apply for grants of up to $1000 for modern equipment, or team uniforms. Grants of up to $5000 are available for clubs to strengthen their operations or sustainability.
