I know northern Victoria there are many individuals, schools, community organisations and companies that are making a difference and doing exciting and rewarding sustainability work, Ms Symes said. The Premiers Sustainability Awards are there for people to share their efforts and be recognised for them. Our schools, businesses and community groups have a lot to be proud of when it comes to sustainability lets tell their stories and inspire others through Victorias most celebrated sustainability awards program. Now in their 16th year, the awards are open in 10 categories: Built environment Community Education Environmental justice Environmental protection Government Health Innovative products or services Small and medium enterprises Large business Im so proud that there are many local sustainability leaders and, with a category for everyone and every group, I would be delighted to see them enter this year, Ms Symes said.
