MEMBER for Northern Victoria Region Jaclyn Symes settled into her new Wallan office last week. Opening the doors to the community, Ms Symes was relieved to get the keys to her office last Monday and is eager to hear directly from the locals to assist in any way she can. Whether it is assisting with legislation enquiries, rules and regulations to ministers or departments, helping with government grant applications or listening to ideas, I am happy to help, Ms Symes said. If you believe there is something that needs to be done in our local area and the State Government can assist, please do not hesitate to contact us. Ms Symes, with office staff, was handing out useful information packs last week for passers-by and encouraging people to share their thoughts on a range of issues. Recently moving her family to the Broadford area, Ms Symes is happy to have an office location in the Mitchell Shire.
