Tallarook wins arts funding

THE Tallarook Arts Society will play hosl to exciting new performances thanks to the Small Regional Presenters program. The Arts Society will receive I I 1,500 for the presentation of Us 2018 program at the Tallarook Mechanics Institute, from April to September The program will feature Anya Anastaslas Rogue Romantic, Southern Ocean Sea Bands Blood and Bones and Fins and Glory and Flnucaneand Smiths Dance flail. The accompanying program will Include opportunities for the local community to participate In Dance Hall and the Southern Ocean Sea Bands performance. Member for Northern Victoria, Jaclyn Symes, congratulated the Tallarook Arts Society In winning the grant In support of Us presentations. The productions are exciting additions to the 2018 arts events calendar In the district. The grants support local communities so they can host festivals, programs and performances for everyone to enjoy, Ms Symes said. Grants of between $1500 to 115,000 are available to support programs.
