Funding of $45 000 has been allocated by the Victorian Government to Strathbogie Shire Councils Nagambie Tourism Infrastructure Development business case to develop future investment in infrastructure and attract more visitors to Nagambie Lake and surrounding waterways. Member for Northern Victoria Jaclyn Symes said the government was keen to support the planning of projects that have the potential to increase visitor numbers, create jobs and drive economic growth in country Victoria. The Governments support allows the project to move to the next stage of planning. I am proud to be part of a government driving the growth in tourism in my region, Ms Symes said. This funding from Labors Regional Tourism Infrastructure Funding will support important planning projects which have the potential to drive visitation, create jobs and boost our economy.
