06 Sep 2016 North Central Review (Kilmore), Melbourne (General News) MEMBER for Northern Victoria, Jaclyn Symes announced the completion of upgrade works at Mangalore Airport last Tuesday, August 30. Ms Symes said the Labor Government had invested $327,450 in the $800,000 project to ensure that Mangalore Airport can continue to provide Northern Victoria with aviation services while also strengthening its position as a key pilot-training site. The upgrade has secured 60 existing jobs at the airport and will also secure the continued generation of approximately $15 million in direct revenue each year from pilot training activities.
