Wangaratta workshops to aid small businesses

05 Jun 2017 Wangaratta Chronicle, Wangaratta VIC (General News) LOCAL business owners will be able to access important information about business development this month. Jaclyn Symes (MLC, Northern Victoria) said targeted workshops will be held in Wangaratta to give small business owners information to expand their businesses and maximise their profits. The first Commercialising Your New Idea workshop will be held at the Wangaratta Council Chambers in Ovens Street tomorrow at 4pm, with a second session at 5pm. The small business workshops provide a valuable opportunity for Wangaratta business owners and operators to get reliable and affordable advice from the experts without travelling far and wide, Ms Symes said. Whether you are thinking of starting a business, looking for guidance with an existing business or wanting to expand, I encourage all Wangaratta locals to take advantage of this great program and attend the upcoming workshops. Victoria is home to more than half a million small businesses and we are lading the country in small business growth. Another workshop, Employing and Keeping the Right Staff, will be held at the Wangaratta Council Chambers at 4pm on Wednesday, June 21.
