Cobram Primary School students are benefiting from new and upgraded facilities following the completion of upgrade and modernisation works thanks to the Allan Labor Government.
Member for Northern Victoria Jaclyn Symes, visited the school today to officially open the upgraded and modernised facilities, including the new classrooms and a refurbished administration building.
These improvements ensure students are learning in an environment designed for delivering modern education.
The upgrades include a new learning hub equipped with spaces for art – including digital – classes, and science, technology, engineering and mathematics lessons.
The modernised facilities include a refurbished administration building featuring a new entry and reception, additional meeting rooms and improved access.
Landscaping works, including new concrete paving and planter beds, further enhance the modern learning facilities provided for students.
The upgrade and modernisation works were delivered through an investment of $10 million from the Labor Government.
The Labor Government has invested $16.9 billion over the past decade to build new schools and undertake more than 2,200 school upgrades across Victoria.
This substantial investment has not only improved educational facilities across the state, it has also supported more than 26,000 jobs in construction and associated industries.
