COMMUNITY ROAD SAFETY GRANTS READY TO HIT THE ROAD

27 October 2025

The Allan Labor Government is backing Victorian schools, councils and not-for-profit organisations to deliver community road safety initiatives to prevent serious injuries and save lives on our roads.

The successful recipients will make a difference to road safety in their communities and share funding through the Community Road Safety Grants, delivering a range of programs to promote Road Safety across Northern Victoria. These include Safer Cyclists, Safer Drivers and Passengers, Safer Pedestrians, Roadside Signage and the Local Road Safety Innovation program.

Successful recipients of the Community Road Safety Grants in Northern Victoria include:

  • Central Murray Community Road Safety Council
  • Community Roadsafe Mildura
  • Mildura Rural City Council
  • Roadsafe Goulburn Valley
  • Roadsafe North East
  • Seymour College
  • Swan Hill College

The Community Road Safety Grants offer funding for local communities across the state to deliver targeted road safety education initiatives across Melbourne and regional Victoria with a particular focus on vulnerable road users – including pedestrians, cyclists, children, older people and roadside workers.
